The show was absolutely brilliant, the best Marc Almond show I have ever seen!
His voice is fantastic and just seems to get better with time. My husband and I have been fans since 1981 and to hear some of our all time favourits brought back great memories and also tears to our eyes.
Thank you Marc, we can wait until the next time!!
Security:

Venue:
The De La Warr Pavillion in Bexhill on Sea is a great venue.

Another excellent performance from Marc Almond dressed smartly in a black mandarin collar jacket. Stage lighting was mostly red with flashes of purple. First song of the evening was Memorabilia. His song list included – A Lover Spurned, My hand over my heart, Melancholy Rose, Black heart, Gone but not forgotten, Pearly Spencer, Somethings gotten hold of my heart, Stories of Johnny, What makes a man, Jacky, I close my eyes and count to 10, two songs from his new cd Variete, Tears run rings, Torch, Bedsitter, Tainted love, final songs - Adored & Explored and then of course the classic Say Hello, Wave Goodbye which most of the audience sang along to. Other observations for you were, that he changed his jacket half way through the show into a dinner jacket with silk collar with a large silver glitter lapel pin. He went off stage for a mini break to take in some fresh air & drink tea & left us watching vintage video clips which were great. Towards the end of the show he put on an extremely glittering sequin shirt which looked like he was continuously igniting sparklers. Final songs were sung in black crew neck long sleeve t shirt as he hurled the glitzy shirt to one side. He was very chatty with the audience after most songs and thanked us all for coming to see him.
Security:
Adequate and not over powering
Venue:

He is the best 'Torch' singer ever. He puts passion & drama into every song he sings.
I especially enjoyed his acoustic numbers ie: Under your Wing and Youth. His voice is excellent.
I also enjoyed to hear The Days of Pearly Spencer and Tears run rings. He of course sung songs from his new album Stardom Road. I close my eyes and count to 10 was great, lots of fans with hands in the air outstreached fingers of 10 everywhere. He ended with the great classics Tainted Love and Say Hello Wave Goodbye and then Marc Bolan tribute songs. The atmosphere was great that night. Whoever was not there missed a great great performance.
Security:
Security was pretty tight but thanks to Marc it did get a little more relaxed.
Venue:
Da La Warr Pavilion is a great venue, very comfortable seats in a quaint town.
