Be specific
Why search for "Reading" when you can look for "Reading festival" which will give you better results?
Try unique words
It's better to search for a word which is used less often - for example "REM" is in "remember" and "remain", but "Stipe" is much less common
Change the type of search
Think about changing from "all words" to "exact phrase", or widen your search by using "any words" or by not just searching headlines
