About Safeconcerts & Music Not Mayhem

Music Not Mayhem at Safeconcerts is a site in two halves with two distinct personalities. There's the Music side, with comprehensive gig, festival and venue information guides, image galleries and features on bands and events from around the country.

Then there's the Concert Safety side which is all about respect for yourself and those around you, with articles about how to keep yourself safe when you're at events both at home and abroad, we also have a great festival survival guide.

But Safeconcerts is so much more than that, we let you have your say by writing your own reviews on gigs and venues that you've been to live on line, so you can see how others have got on, and you can use our forum to discuss and share experiences. You can also purchase tickets through our approved primary ticket suppliers to keep you away from the touts.

Safeconcerts / Music Not Mayhem is the original UK site that makes concert safety a priority and we've been sending the message out since 2003.

100% Independent and not funded by the industry

We are unique in that we do not rely on advertising for our existence and therefore you'll never find aggravating and annoying pop ups on the Safeconcerts site. We are not a business and do not make money from the site - and we are completely and absolutely independent - how many other sites can say that?.

Our site is packed full of information - a place for you to get the latest music news, learn about concert safety, submit and read band, venue and event reviews live on line - and equip yourself and others with some pretty valuable safety tips. Having fun while making sure that you and those around you are safe is what concert safety is all about.

The uniqueness of the Safeconcerts website is now getting about and the idea has become so popular that other websites have started copying what we do, even down to copying our innovative ideas for concert safety including all the extras that are featured on Safeconcerts! - don't be duped by these rather obvious imitations.

We know there is no other site out there that isn't either in the pockets of the big corporate organisations, receiving large donations or having their work funded by them - and if they tell you any different ask them how they've paid for their website / merchansdise / tickets!
