Claremont Farm: rip off tickets bored kids
Written by vintageblonde | 26th May 2014
Great a fun, local family day out, but not so great for children, hardly anything for the young ones, a tent where they could colour a picture to receive a balloon and annoy the poor little goats and lambs, ok a nice idea for the very young but where was the rest? £3.50 for a child's ticket, no children's entertainment, no little fair ground rides or even a swing! Kids where bored and upset every which way you turned, food and drink festival maybe but don't rip people off with charging for children when you're not catering for them, nice for adults lots of great food, but not much else. The sheep guy who had sheep dancing on a stage truck was amazing! What a personality! But without this the festival lacked in entertainment. Come on organisers people expect more than to pay on the gate then have to pay for everything once inside also, that's not on.
Too expensive for what is is, a food and drink show with little else to do.

Clyde Auditorium: Foreigner- The Band!!
Written by heidi2765 | 6th Apr 2014
The staff at the venue were absolutely unhelpful and we felt totally made fools of.
Never again.

Could it be because we are not Scots/ Other foreigners were not treated well in our presence!

Manchester Apollo Theatre: BE CAREFULL..SCAMS,DAMAGE,THEFT,BREAKINS
Written by Rockfan | 25th Mar 2014
THE VENUE HAS BEEN THERE FOR YEARS,AND HAS PROBABLY THE BEST SOUND FOR LIVE ACTS AROUND TODAY.10/10.
THE PROBLEMS ARE THE SCAMMERS AND THIEF'S OUTSIDE THE VENUE.
THE ONLY SAFE PLACE TO PARK YOUR CAR IS ON THE VENUE CAR PARK,BE AWARE THAT IS SCAMMED BY BOGAS TOUTS IN JACKETS.THEY TAKE YOUR MONEY AND GO.SLASHED TIRES,BROKEN WINDOWS,CAR THEFT AND SO ON.
SORRY ITS TRUE I KNOW PEOPLE THAT ARE DOING THIS AND GETTING AWAY WITH IT.IF YOUR CAR IS IN ONE PIECE AFTER THE SHOW YOU ARE LUCKY.IF YOU PARK ON THE SIDE STREETS ,LITTLE SHITS ON PEDAL BIKES ASK YOU FOR CASH TO LOOK AFTER YOUR CAR.ITS DRUG MONEY.WHEN YOU COME BACK YOUR CAR HAS BEEN KEYED,OR SLASHED TYRES.I NO LONGER USE THIS VENUE DUE TO SCALYS, AND SCAMMERS,IT SHOULD BE RE LOCATED.WATCH OUT FOR FAKE TICKETS AS WELL OUT SIDE THE VENUE.THE AREA IS A NO GO TO STRANGERS BE WARE!! SORRY BUT THE VENUE IS DATED AND REALLY DODGY, BUT THE SOUND IS THE BEST. I RECOMMEND TRAVELLING IN ON THE TRAIN,OR GET A LIFT .DO NOT NOT NOT LEAVE YOUR CAR ON THE SIDE STREETS ,GIVE YOUR MONEY TO THE LOCAL KIDS ,AND BE AWARE OF OFFICIALS IN JACKETS IN CAR PARKS AROUND THE VENUE. ,IT WILL HAPPEN TO YOU BELIEVE ME.
Wolverhampton Civic Hall: Potentially good venue ruined by security gorillas
Written by iron noose | 21st Dec 2013
The place is a small hall with a balcony and a reasonably large stage. That would be a good venue for concerts but for the absolutely thuggish security who jump on anyone who dares produce a camera- even a pocket one - for a snap. They are clearly operating in the 1980s and think they can bully and intimidate paying punters, they cannot. Worse still, they are inconsistent in their operation, and while pouncing on some instantly, they seem to just 'give up' and leave others to it. This venue would be good, but while they employ complete and utter gorillas with the minds of amoebas and muscles of The Rock, from now on I will swerve this place regardless of how good the acts are. Wolverhampton Civic is a haven for thugs.
