I booked the ballet dance classes, which promised to be fun, challenging but overall fulfilling. The classes worked out at £8 per class, which in itself is very expensive, but they promised so much I thought I'd give it ago. You have to block book the entire term, this set me back £104!!!
I attended the first "ballet" class and was disheartened that the "warm up" consisted of 10 pliés, but generally just light bouncing on the spot to allegedly warm up the knees. The class had a performing arts feel to the class, not artristic challenging ballet that it promised. The class instructor Caroline Zdrakovic left a lot to be desired, and I'm not sure from her appauling effort that she actually has much experience at ballet, and in my opinion should definitely not be being paid to teach others!
I hastily wanted a refund on these expensive lessons, but was refused by both the management Andy Wood, and the dance teacher Caroline Zdrakovic. It took them 4 weeks to decide not to give me a refund, with Caroline being extremely rude about the whole thing.
All in all my visit to the Artrix was dreadful and I will never be attending again. I am nearly £100 out of pocket that has been given to an incompetent woman who cannot dance.

Lionel Richie concert planned for 22/9/12 was cancelled at the last minute. Ticket buyers have only been offered a percentage of their ticket money back as 'compensation'. This gig would have attracted many Lionel Richie fans given that it was his first UK appearance for 3 years and would attract fans who are not interested in racing. Very poor customer service to offer 'compensation' to Lionel Richie fans who are out of pocket.
Suggest you go to a proper music venue for future events and give Newbury Racecource a miss if this is indicative of their policy.

Hi There. Parked my car and popped into this pub for 10 minutes to change my 1 year old's nappy and returned to a £75 parking ticket! I'll leave it to you to judge whether this suggests a good time or not.
This pub's Car Park is run by Creative Parking Solutions, a company with reputation for agressive and unfair fines; http://www.thisisdevon.co.uk/Drivers-angry-fines-imposed-car-park/story-11731057-detail/story.html

Also bought early bird tickets from Big Wheel Promotions for Jimmys farm 2012, and yes, I am in exactly the same posistion. Suprised That Jimmy s farm have not released a statement and have remained quiet? as although i understand that they only let Big Wheel use the Farm, Jimmy himself, looked pretty involved with the festival that I went to last year! Poor in my opinion.
