No full refunds for cancelled events

The boxing fight Haye v Fury was first postponed and then cancelled. Eventim are only offering refunds on the face value of the tickets which means that I've just lost £120.50 in booking fees for something that's not even going to take place. Spoke to their CS and a Supervisor and was promised a call back from Stuart James, their CS Manager. That was more than 2 days ago and I'm still waiting.
Be careful when you buy from them, they'll try and rip you off and their CS is completely unhelpful and couldn't care less.

Possibly worst ticket buying experience ever. Was trying to buy tickets for Billy Joel at Hammersmith - really don't like the way that they don't give you seat numbers/ row for seated tickets and just say that they will select the "best available" - you could end up paying premium prices for the worst seats in the house. All other ticket sellers give you allocated seats, why can't they? I decided to go head anyway, was told I had 12 minutes to complete my purchase, and when I did so in less than 2, they were "unable to process my request" and threw me back to the first page where tickets had all now sold out...
I also selected guest login only to find out subsequently that they have now created an account for me - surely that isn't right?
Great experience with Eventim

I bought tickets for Lucy Rose live in Brixton from Eventim UK. The buying process was simple, the price was reasonable and I received them in good time. All round excellent ticket-buying experience from a customer-friendly company - highly recommended.
Good agency - I got £5 off with a voucher.

Tickets easy to get hold of and they even issued a £5 off voucher that effectively wiped out the postage cost.
See Tickets and Ticketmaster should follow their lead particularly the latter who charge to print your own tickets.
Worked 100% for me!

Wanted tickets for Rush in Birmingham as a birthday present.
Only seller I could find with tickets was eventim.co.uk - I did what most have you have probably done (otherwise you wouldnt be looking here) and googled them.
Very little about the UK version of eventim on the net - but decided to give them a go, as their European mainland version seemed to have a good reputation.
Communication from them was good, tickets arrived in plenty of time, show was great!
Best place to get tickets

I came across Eventim via their Music & Arts guide at Caffe Nero. They publish this selection of cool events that they recommend to Caffe Nero customers on this website www.eventim.co.uk/caffenero . Anyway so I checked out this Caffe Nero page, and booked tickets for Imelda May via Eventim. I had no idea who Eventim were at the time, but tickets arrived safely. Ever since I always check Eventim first for any popular tickets. They've become a lifestyle choice for me. Boycott the horrible corporate names such as Ticketmaster, and the technology clunky like See tickets. Go to a friendly shop, who funds a grass root music programme at Caffe Nero. That's why I like Eventim. They give something back to the music scene.
will definetly be using them again

More companies should take a leaf out of Eventim's book! The website is great easy to use, we found the tickets we wanted to buy, the transaction was completed in a short time and 48 hours later my tickets have arrived. THANK YOU EVENTIM
