Great Venue, Excellent staff, Good Bar stock.
Recently took my wife and son who are registered blind to see ( no pun intended) the British lions, the staff where very helpful in providing information before hand to ensure they had a good time. Venue has seated areas and also doesn't get too full so access to the bar is easy. Prices are good too.
All in all looking at going again very soon.
The Bear Club
: Class venue in Luton town centre - Bearly believable!

The best new venue in Luton for years - this is the level of excellence that everyone else should aspire to.
Live music, comedy, spoken word and film nights, all in a converted nineteenth century building about 3 minutes walk from Luton Railway Station and Bus Interchange, with the Bute Street Shoppers Car Park behind it free after 6pm if you come by car.
Bottled beers, wine, cocktails and spirits on offer. There are bar snacks, but no other food - it ain't that kind of place.
Plenty of tables, but you can stand if that's your preference. The friendly staff make for a friendly atmosphere, where you can meet people you know and get to know people you didn't before, and it really has attracted people from 18 to 80.
You can turn up at the door for most ticketed events, but some will be advance only. Bear Club members like me get in for free for quite a few events and get discounts for most nights. There are also nights where it's free entry at the door for everyone. All those details are on the website: www.the-bear.club.

Great a fun, local family day out, but not so great for children, hardly anything for the young ones, a tent where they could colour a picture to receive a balloon and annoy the poor little goats and lambs, ok a nice idea for the very young but where was the rest? £3.50 for a child's ticket, no children's entertainment, no little fair ground rides or even a swing! Kids where bored and upset every which way you turned, food and drink festival maybe but don't rip people off with charging for children when you're not catering for them, nice for adults lots of great food, but not much else. The sheep guy who had sheep dancing on a stage truck was amazing! What a personality! But without this the festival lacked in entertainment. Come on organisers people expect more than to pay on the gate then have to pay for everything once inside also, that's not on.
Too expensive for what is is, a food and drink show with little else to do.
