Reading 2008 was my 6th Reading Festival and the venue was fine as always.

The arena was bigger this year. I didn't personally personally notice that it made any difference but I'm sure it did in one way or another. Either way I think this was a good thing.

There was plenty of good camping space this year. The only reason camping space would be limited is when in some years theres bad weather beforehand and the campsites flood, but that wasn't the case this time. The ground was good, the grass was green, the sunshine was plentiful and all was good.

I don't tend to go to the bars and clubs situated outside the main arena so I can't comment on those. I prefer to sit around the fire in my campsite with some beers and a bit of pot and a cd player.

I did visit the shops in Green Camp on occasion to buy batteries, poppers, rizla etc, and all seemed well to me.

didn't even get there but if the entrance was anything to go by with the lack of a tap and toilets, then pretty poor

Fire Exits were well sign posted, saw safety signage in the campsite on the way through. Saw welfare points throughout site. Huge sign saying Drinking Water and Toilets

Food was what you expect from a festival for kids - chips and bread with everything, limited number of interesting food stalls although I loved the Falafel stall.

The merchandising was expensive and a bit boring. Only one ugly T-shirt of the festival

There were car park stewards helping us out of the field at the end of the night which was excellent.

Flush toilets in the arena which was also excellent with an attendant who was making sure there was loo roll and soap in them all - brillilant.

This was definately the best festival I''ve ever been to, and definately the most fun mostly down to very good organisation and great selection of bands on.

I wish there had been a few more things to do in the afternoon when we were waiting for the bands we''d come to see to come on.
