i was looking forward to seeing stiff little fingers at the new hmv institute,as i had seen stiff little fingers there over 30 years ago when it was known as digbeth civic hall, i had purchased tickets for the upstairs seating area on the balcony, when we got there they had changed the room the band was going to play in to the much smaller library room with no seating, also the instute advertises that carlsberg beer at gigs would be £2.80 but was £3.60,not major issues but felt i was being conned , my partner and i go to many gigs such as leamington assembly and wolverhampton civic hall which are far ,far better venues ,i felt the door and security staff to be very unprofessional, and the toillets a disgrace .for a venue that has just spent 4 million pounds on refurbishment it was very poor . the only plus part was that stiff little fingers were superb .
