Went to see Trey Songz at the Hammersmith Appollo. First time I had been to that venue and it was absolutely AWFUL!.. never again! really bad health and saftey . security really bad like they do not no what they are doing and there is not enough of them. so many fights were happening. girls were starting on my girls and stated pushing them! ridiculous how the venue was so bad!
I saw Trey Songz at 02 and it was incredible! so much better then the hammersmith properly organised! never going to Hammersmith again it deserves to be shut down along with there staff it doesnt even get one rating from me!

The atmosphere was great - a cosy type of venue.

ABSOLUTELY USELESS!
I saw My Chemical Romance there last night and it was a mess.
Firstly it seemed like the floors hadn't been cleaned for 100 years and i thought my feet would fall out of my (tightly laced) shoes every time i moved because it was SO sticky.
Secondly, the venue had actually SOLD tickets for people to stand on the stairs around the edge and back of the balcony (Which i'm sure is illegal)! There was even a person on crutches standing on them. they were told to stay in single file but when the band started they moved to 2-3 people per stair. I could not even leave to go to the toilet as it was impossible to get past them. A horrific venue an very badly organised!

Just got in from Them Crooked Vultures (Friday 19th December 2009). Awesome band, good sound. However I am completely frustrated with the security. My girlfriend and I were sitting in Block 4, row H, seats 29 & 30. 30 was next to the aisle and for some reason it's okay for people to be standing on the stairs blocking our view, being rude, aggressive, and pouring drinks allover the place.
What happened to health and safety?
I asked the security to ask them to sit down or go to their seats twice. Both times a scrawny guy and an elderly lady half heartedly asked them to go to their seats. They never did.
I almost got into a fight with 2 men as they had upset my girlfriend.
Why was security not doing their job!?!?!
Absolutely frustrating!
Next time I'll pay for a cheap seat and stand at the front of the stairs!

Absolutely disgraceful staff. Alice Cooper Sunday 6th December 2009
I had to leave the auditorium after 30 mins as the crush at the front was getting too much (and the personnel refused to provide water). As I stepped outside for some fresh air, a bulshy member of staff declared I couldn't go back in! Having invested over £150 on the night I was devastated. My girlfriend came outside to see where I was and then she too was refused reentry.
I asked to speak to the supervisor hoping for some common-sense and politeness, but was greeted by an agressive toothless woman shouting and cursing. She and 2 yob employees man-handled both myself and my girlfriend into the street.
In the end we had to wait at the station for our friend to come out of the show for over an hour, when we should have been in there enjoying it with him.
We will never be returning to the venue ever again. We were treated like animals and robbed of the money we paid for a night out.

The very worst in London. Bar staff completely uninterested and there for their own benefit as were the door staff who were outright rude. Toilets disgusting with handles broken off. Carpet at our seats damp and smelly. Was at the O2 two nights before and it's like chalk and rancid cheese. Impossible to feed back on Ticketmaster site as they're clearly not interested.

Went to the Nolans Tuesday 3rd November - a woman stood up at the balcony barrier to watch the show and got abusive when asked to move because those sitting around her couldn't see the show. We asked the staff to move her and they just looked to a lady who seemed to be in charge and she just shrugged - nothing was done. They all seemed to be friends with this lady because they were chatting and laughing together in the interval. Where was the Health and Safety - apart from the fact she was blocking our view completely. As it was the backing group were far too loud so the Nolans had to screech 90% of the time but it was very well put together and we didn't pay to watch it around one extremely selfish woman. I don't think i would go to Hammersmith again.

At the Porcupine Tree gig last night (Oct 9th). Fantastic band, music superb but dreadful sound and lighting quality at this venue. Every other gig I've seen PT at, the sound quality has been great, but not here. Beer prices a rip off, and loos inadequate for size of the place. Queue's horrendous for everything. Worst venue I've been at for a long time.

For where were sitting in the first three rows of the balcony excellent.
