Better than usual on the ground level. The gig was not full and there was eneough room between punters. These whose read this site regularly will know of my dislike for Brixton (so why do I keep going back, believe me not by choice).

Brixton was heaving as usual. Sometimes too many people for comfort. Some idiot thought it funny to land a fullish pint of beer in the midst of us. Don't know if security came and dealt with him.Pre-Franz, there was no escaping the thumping drone of the DJ's on stage but worse still in the bar. You might have guessed - i still find it hard to love Brixton.

Brixton Academy is an excellent Venue. Intimate, great atmosphere, great sound and always a great crowd!

Packed and Sweaty

Just seen the Specials at the 02 Brixton. Brilliant night, Billiant Atmosphere and if your standing in the stalls you wont be dissapointed. Great views everywhere as the angled floors raise as you go back, so even if your short you can still get a great view. Brilliant venue. Would nefinatly recommend and would happily go again although The Specials would be a hard act to follow as they were fantastic.
