The Venue was extremely clean, the toilets especially. It was very well organised in every respect.

The venue was beautiful with the castle as a permanent marvel backdrop. The flags were nicely postioned and the kids area was out of the way. It was nice so that families could be families and caners could carry on regardless.

We know there wasn't enough camping... blah blah. ...not enough toilets. I don't want to pollute the environment but I also don't want to spend my entire time in a queue.

Venue was too spread out for the "intimate" feel they wanted.
Traffic: A disaster. they didn't have enough parking stewards, so had to use 2 overflow car parks.
This meant: 2 hours in a traffic jam to go 1 mile. 1 hour in a queue with all your camping gear to get your wristband. 15 minutes humping your stuff across the WHOLE festival site to get to the camping that they had opened up as people had brought "bigger tents than we expected".
£3.50 for a 2 litre bottle of water!!!!
Prices obviously hiked and changed by some food vendors because of the presence of the "Ascot and Henley" set. I peeled back stickers on a stall selling chips for £2.50 and they had slapped an extra £1 on for the occasion!
I could go on, but the organisers need to:
a) put a decent traffic management plan in place and staff it properly
b) Have a fair pricing agreement with their vendors
c) Estimate the space they will need for camping and parking and then add 50%!
d) communicate when their is a problem with traffic, I luckily overheard a conversation and found out why I had been sitting in my car crawling for 2 hours, with a 5 year old on my way to a "family friendly" festival!
