Terrible location, in one of Manchesters dodgiest areas, abundant with car thieves. Also virtually impossable to get a ticket without paying Ticketmasters rip-off.

Avoid like the plague.
Sited in a dodgy area where you stand a great chance of getting your car screwed, infested with crooks in hi-viz jackets that charge you a fiver to park and then disappear, staffed by meatheads who think customer service means a smack in the mouth if you look at them wrongly, and far too crowded in the foyer because they thought that by taking the seats out in the stalls they could ram another thousand or so mugs in there. Plus the sound, assuming you've avoided getting thrown out before making it into the stalls, is abysmal, swirls around and lacks impact.
I'd rather travel to another city altogether than visit this place again and this is from someone who was once a regular attendee here. Utterly dreadful!

We went to see the Jodeci Concert at Manchester Apollo Friday 13th 2009. Total load of RUBBISH!!. For 3 tickets we paid £99.50. I have since spoke to someone who watched them in London and they described a similar event. The band members were fighting and one of them collapsed. I'd question if this is characteristic of a scam...... we were so disappointed.. On approaching the Stewards no empathy was demonstrated.. or no suggestion of a refund. We were so disgusted. I will never watch an event at the Apollo again and I will certainly be giving Jodeci a miss!!!!!

i went to see jodeci concert on friday 13th and what a friday the thirteenth it was! First of all "JOE" was meant to be the support act and he wasnt. Big dissapointment! Then JODECI came on and there was a bit of tension between K-CI and DEVANTE and pushing and shuving each other .Then after about half an hour the show finnished because one of jodeci collapsed! What a waste of £38 plus a waste of time and travel from liverpool . and no refund! Total con. The promoters are making fortunes out of jodeci fans and the band shouldnt go on tour if they are unfit.I was a massive fan and went to see them in Manchesters "Free Trade Hall" many years ago. It's sad to say but it's put me off ever getting tickets to see a jodeci concert again. alexandria (from liverpool).
