The floor is that sticky it's like having lead weights in your boots,at one point I had to pull my daughter off the floor holding onto her shoes!....Hilariously filthy

Good venue, great atmosphere and standing room. Very atmospheric.

For an O2 Academy this venue is pretty good. The standing area is laid out much better than the O2 Leeds Academy.

Great venue, bar was good, Guinness surprisingly ok and lighting and sound good.

The carling academey is what sheffield has been waiting for, a free to roam concert venue with a real buzz. No more sitting in cramped seats with the artists like little stick men bareley visible but a more intimate affair just like it should be. There are plenty of bars to choose from and the prices arent too bad either. We all had a very enjoyable experience and the atmosphere was electric.

Went to see the human league at sheffield carling academy last night, sun 20th april. Top venue , well worth a visit , brought back some memories. The human league were brilliant , they sounded as fresh as they did 20 odd years ago. I will be visiting this venue quite a lot I think, spot on!!!
